Programmer ability, what does “the best” actually mean?
If you really want hire “the best” programmers, is that reflected in the offered salary and conditions?
I’m not saying salary and conditions are the only considerations, but let’s be realistic, they sure don’t hurt.
Now consider what “the best” actually means. Let’s assume programmer ability is distributed on a normal curve.
